The Port

Built north of Cap Ferrat and surrounded by luxury villas, the Beaulieu Marina is located in a green area blessed with an amazingly soft climate which got him the nickname « Little Africa ». The Port is equipped with very good infrastructures and is proud of its renowned restaurants and high-quality shops.

Ideally located between Nice and Monaco, the Bay of Beaulieu ranges from the tip of Cap-Ferrat to Cap d’Ail.

The village of Beaulieu-sur-Mer is set upon a piece of the coast between the « Pointe des Fourmis » on its southern side and the « Pointe de Beaulieu » on its northern side. In between the two headlands lies the Port of Beaulieu.

 What a « nice place ! »

Palace lifestyle and sumptuous « Belle Époque » villas call to mind images of another era : a luxurious world and an aristocratic society whose souvenir still hasn’t faded from our collective consciousness.
A number of little palaces are hidden at the heart of this village, sharing the privilege of unparalleled climate softness with the city of Menton.

With that mind, it is not surprising that so many eminent characters have elected Beaulieu-sur-Mere as their favorite place of retreat.

Among them, Gustave Eiffel spent several years – summer and winter – in the spacious “Villa Romaine” carrying his name. His neighbour, Théodore Reinach, had a passion for the Hellenistic Art and chose to build the resplendent Villa Kerylos on shores reminding so perfectly those of the Aegean Sea.

Gordon Bennett, seduced by this enchanting site, offered – believe it or not – to build a Marina at his own expenses !
The powerful New-Yorker Herald owner had the displeasure of seeing his proposal rejected. It was until 1968 that this project came to life.

The Marina of Beaulieu Plaisance offers its many perks to visitors and pleasure boaters alike.
Thanks to its quality infrastructures, the Port of Beaulieu-sur-Mer is endowed with an excellent reputation in Europe and worldwide and has never disappointed all along its 56 years of existence.
