Dear boaters,

We invite you to discover the exhibition ‘L’Océan Vivant’ (The Living Ocean) currently on display at the Port of Beaulieu Plaisance! 😊

In line with the UNOC, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis has set up this exhibition on the esplanade overlooking the South Gallery of the Port.

Around thirty photographs by photographers Greg Lecoeur and Olivier Anrigo are on display.

These highlight marine biodiversity in various regions of the world, particularly evoking issues related to climate change.

From the polar regions of the Arctic to the Mediterranean ecosystems, via the Galapagos, Olivier Anrigo and Greg Lecoeur will transport you out of time into an unexpected universe.

Ten tripod totems have been used!

We invite young and old alike to marvel at the beauty of our environment and to consider our duty to respect it.

A big thank you to Greg Lecoeur, Olivier Anrigo and the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis for this magnificent exhibition!

📣 Let’s celebrate the Local Heritage Day in the Port of Beaulieu Plaisance! 😀

Event placed under the sign of discovery and preservation of our marine heritage which is in the spotlight this year!

📅 Saturday 21st of September 2024

🕤 9.30am  – 12.00pm

📍 Appointment : Fishermen Quay

Programme :

👩‍👩‍👧‍👧10.00am : Guided tour of Beaulieu-sur-Mer  « Belle Epoque » (📨 Registration through the Tourism Office of Beaulieu-sur-Mer and departure from the Quay).

🥽 Exhibition of underwater pictures based on the preservation of  seabeds and on our archeological heritage with “Anao L’Aventure sous-marine” organisation.

📸 Exhibition of ancient pictures of the Port and of  local and traditional fishing with Mr Gilbert Garziglia.

Let’s carry on our local traditions and keep the treasures of our marine and historical heritage!
