Regatta La Berlugane – 4 th & 5th of octobre 2025 – All welcome !

Dear boaters,

We are pleased to announce that the “La Berlugane” Regatta will take place on October 4 and 5, 2025, at the Yacht Club of Beaulieu-sur-Mer!

Organized by the Yacht Club, it is open to cruising sailboats and catamarans!

Check out the PROGRAM!

Saturday, October 4, 2025:

9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.: Confirmation of registrations, distribution of ICs
From 2:00 p.m.: Provision of boats and first races
7:00 p.m.: Dinner concert at the Yacht Club

Sunday, October 5, 2025:

10:00 a.m.: Briefing for skippers and crews
11:00 a.m.: First warning signal, 1 or 2 races to follow, coastal courses between Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Monaco, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Nice, 1 to 2 races to follow

Bonjour,

Notre Port franchit une nouvelle étape : nous sommes désormais certifiés Ports Propres Actifs en Biodiversité !

Déjà engagés dans une démarche environnementale reconnue par la certification Ports Propres, nous allons plus loin :

Nous avons obtenu le 08 septembre 2025 le second niveau de la norme internationale ISO 18725 Ports Propres, qui récompense les actions concrètes en faveur de la biodiversité terrestre et marine, sur le port et dans son aire d’influence.

👉 Cette certification reconnaît une stratégie globale et active en faveur du vivant. Un port est un écosystème plein de vie….🐟🐠🐞🐢🌲

Là où le premier niveau, « Ports Propres » valorise la gestion environnementale du port au niveau des déchets, des effluents et des ressources, ce deuxième niveau valorise les gestionnaires portuaires qui font de la biodiversité une priorité concrète, durable et mesurable. Un volet est également dédié à la formation du personnel et à la sensibilisation des usagers.

🎯 Obtenir la certification Ports Propres Actifs en Biodiversité, c’est donc :
✔️ Répondre à un standard mondial rigoureux,
✔️ Se soumettre à une évaluation indépendante avec un référentiel de 7 critères très exigeants,
✔️ Garantir aux usagers un lieu de vie propice à la Biodiversité,

✔️Avoir une reconnaissance mondiale saluée par les institutions.

Ce résultat est le fruit d’un travail collectif et d’une conviction partagée. Merci à toutes celles et ceux qui ont contribué à ce cap franchi !

Radio-controlled sailing boat regatta: Sunday 14 September 2025 (from 11:00 am to 16:30 pm)

Dear boaters,

The AMMF (ASSOCIATION MICRO MAGIC FRANCE) association is organising a
new regatta on Sunday 14 September 2025! 😊

Come and enjoy this wonderful spectacle from 11:00 a.m. to 16:30 p.m.!
The boats participating are radio-controlled sailboats of the
RG 65 class, international series.
The regatta will take place in the outer harbour near the new
floating pontoon, where the boats will be launched.
This will be an opportunity to discover the new sailing area at
Port de Beaulieu Plaisance, where you can sail in complete tranquillity.

The Return of the White Pirate: a quest for hospitalised children
5th edition of Les Voiles Blanches – from 26 August to 11 September 2025

Dear sailors,

We invite you to drop off new toys in the chest located at the entrance of the Port Office, for the benefit of children hospitalised at Lenval Hospital. The White Pirate will come and collect them soon! > 7 September 2025 🙂 👬🧸🧩

For the fifth consecutive year, the White Pirate is setting sail again with a mission close to his heart: Collecting toys for children hospitalised at the Lenval Foundation. From 26 August to 11 September 2025, he will sail the Mediterranean, between Cassis and Nice, passing through Monaco, Cap d’Ail, Villefranche-sur-Mer, and other coastal ports.

At the helm of his sailing boat, the legendary White Pirate will sail from port to port, braving the waves, playing with the wind, and carrying toys donated by generous donors in his hold. This treasure will then be delivered to the Lenval Foundation in Nice, where it will be distributed throughout the year to hospitalised children.

His journey can be followed in real time on the Voiles Blanches YouTube channel, allowing children (and adults!) to experience this wonderful adventure distantly, port after port.

A joyful toy collection campaign! 😊

The departure is scheduled for 26 August 2025, with stops at the following ports:

  • Saint-Tropez
  • Sainte-Maxime
  • Théoule-sur-Mer
  • Golfe-Juan
  • Antibes

EXHIBITION « L’OCEAN VIVANT » Greg Lecoeur & Olivier Anrigo

Dear boaters,

We invite you to discover the exhibition ‘L’Océan Vivant’ (The Living Ocean) currently on display at the Port of Beaulieu Plaisance! 😊

In line with the UNOC, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis has set up this exhibition on the esplanade overlooking the South Gallery of the Port.

Around thirty photographs by photographers Greg Lecoeur and Olivier Anrigo are on display.

These highlight marine biodiversity in various regions of the world, particularly evoking issues related to climate change.

From the polar regions of the Arctic to the Mediterranean ecosystems, via the Galapagos, Olivier Anrigo and Greg Lecoeur will transport you out of time into an unexpected universe.

Ten tripod totems have been used!

We invite young and old alike to marvel at the beauty of our environment and to consider our duty to respect it.

A big thank you to Greg Lecoeur, Olivier Anrigo and the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis for this magnificent exhibition!

Falicities set to develop biodiversity on the Port de Beaulieu Plaisance

Dear boaters,

As part of our ‘Clean Ports’ certification, various facilities have been set to promote the development of local biodiversity.

The main cause of biodiversity loss is the fragmentation of natural habitats due to urbanisation.

The Port of Beaulieu Plaisance is committed to participing to the reconnexion of environments by planting local trees and shrubs suited to the Mediterranean climate.

Shelters designed to protect animal species have also been created.

The Port of Beaulieu Plaisance is pleased to inform you that it now features:

  • bird nesting boxes for known species
  • insect hotels sheltering a multitude of insects and promoting pollination
  • hibernaculum used as a shelter for reptiles, small mammals and amphibians
  • ecological corridors and wild hedges
  • ‘Zero Phyto’ signs indicating the Port’s commitment not to use anymore phytosanitary products in the maintenance of green spaces.
