🏃 « SWIMRUN COTE D’AZUR »: Sunday 19th of October 2025 from 8.00am!

Dear boaters,

Please note that the ‘SWIMRUN COTE D’AZUR’ will take place on Sunday, 19 October 2025, starting from 8:00 a.m.! 🏊🏃🎉

Swimrun is a sport that combines trail running and open water swimming.

  • The event will start and finish at the Port de Beaulieu Plaisance, crossing the commune of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.
  • It is reserved for trained individuals in good physical condition.
  • Start: Petite Afrique Beach in Beaulieu-sur-Mer.
  • Participation mode: DUO or SOLO
  • Team composition: the event takes place in teams of 2 people, in a single stage. Your team must consist of 2 men, 2 women or a mixed team.

    Different race formats are possible:

L (30km): start at 8:00 am

M (17km): start at 8:45 am

S (8km): start at 9:30 a.m.

Beach Polo Cup at Port de Beaulieu Marina: 3rd, 4th and 5th October 2025!

📢We invite you to discover the Monte Carlo Beach Cup, a unique event on the French Riviera! 🎉🙂
This event is organised by the Monaco Polo Federation under the auspices of the FIP International Polo Federation.

📅 See you on Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October 2025!
📍 At the Port de Beaulieu Plaisance (on the ground above the Petite Afrique car park)
🥳 Free admission!

• The Beach Polo Cup will transform the Port of Beaulieu Plaisance into a spectacular equestrian arena between the sea and the mountains.
• A high-level competition, bringing together international players, exceptional horses and a glamorous atmosphere.

✅ Programme (3 days)
• 3 October: Opening ceremony and exhibition matches.
• 4 October: Qualifying tournaments.
• 5 October: Grand final and trophy presentation. 🏆

Dear boaters,

🌈 The Port of beaulieu Plaisance organised a World Cleanup Day event on Saturday 20 September 2025 from 9.30am to 12.30pm at the marina and Petite Afrique beach!

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our partners: the Town of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Nice Métropole Côte d’Azur, Natura 2000 , the CDMM (Centre Découverte Mer et Montagne), Paddle Cleaner, Breathe & Rebreathe, un Océan de Vie, Edmond de Rothschild Bank, and the restaurants Baia Bella and La Javanaise! 🌍🐬🐳🐟🐠🧺🧹🙂

Many thanks also to the boaters and visitors who contributed to this wonderful show of solidarity!

Around a hundred volunteers came to collect 59 kg of waste on land and 15 litres of cigarette butts (i.e. 9,000 butts).

Most of the waste collected was single-use plastic, microplastics and cigarette butts ☹.

⚠ A single cigarette butt can pollute up to 500 litres of water! 🚭

The Port of Beaulieu Plaisance is organising a big clean-up operation of Petite Afrique Beach and the Port, in collaboration with Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, the Town of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Natura 2000, the Baia Bella and La Javanaise restaurants, the CDMM, Breathe & Rebreathe, Un Océan de Vie, Nice Plogging, Paddle Cleaner and the Edmond de Rothschild bank. 🙂

Hello,

Our port has reached a new milestone: we are now certified as “Ports Propres Actifs en Biodiversité” (“Clean Port Active in Biodiversity”)!

Already committed to an environmental approach recognised by the Clean Ports certification, we are going even further:

On 8 September 2025, we obtained the second level of the international ISO 18725 Clean Ports standard, which rewards concrete actions in favour of terrestrial and marine biodiversity, both in the port and in its area of influence.

👉 This certification recognises a comprehensive and active strategy in favour of living organisms. A port is an ecosystem teeming with life…🐟🐠 🐞🐢🌲

Whereas the first level, ‘Clean Ports’, promotes the environmental management of the port in terms of waste, effluents and resources, this second level promotes port managers who make biodiversity a concrete, sustainable and measurable priority. One section is also dedicated to staff training and user awareness.

🎯 Obtaining Clean Ports Active in Biodiversity certification therefore means:
✔️ Meeting a rigorous global standard,
✔️ Undergoing an independent assessment based on a set of seven highly demanding criteria,
✔️ Guaranteeing users a living environment conducive to biodiversity,
✔️Gaining global recognition from institutions.

This result is the fruit of collective effort and shared conviction. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this milestone!

“Get ready to dive into the world of sunken wrecks!

For European Heritage Days, in front of the Beaulieu Plaisance harbour master’s office, from Friday 19 September to Monday 22 September, I will be presenting our latest archaeological discoveries through a series of photographs.

These rare images reflect the scientific studies carried out by Anao archaeologists, an underwater adventure!

A selection of images that trace several centuries of our maritime history and the remains of those seafaring civilisations that came to our shores to drop anchor with their mighty ships.

Under the water, traces of these intrepid travellers are unearthed from beneath the sand and silt during official underwater excavations.

This allows us to discover, without getting wet, all the work accomplished since 1991 by these adventurers in the service of preserving our cultural, maritime, heritage and, above all, archaeological heritage.

We are pleased to announce that the “La Berlugane” Regatta will take place on October 4 and 5, 2025, at the Yacht Club of Beaulieu-sur-Mer!

Organized by the Yacht Club, it is open to cruising sailboats and catamarans!

9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.: Confirmation of registrations, distribution of ICs
From 2:00 p.m.: Provision of boats and first races
7:00 p.m.: Dinner concert at the Yacht Club

Sunday, October 5, 2025:

10:00 a.m.: Briefing for skippers and crews
11:00 a.m.: First warning signal, 1 or 2 races to follow, coastal courses between Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Monaco, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Nice, 1 to 2 races to follow

The AMMF (ASSOCIATION MICRO MAGIC FRANCE) association is organising a
new regatta on Sunday 14 September 2025! 😊

Come and enjoy this wonderful spectacle from 11:00 a.m. to 16:30 p.m.!
The boats participating are radio-controlled sailboats of the
RG 65 class, international series.
The regatta will take place in the outer harbour near the new
floating pontoon, where the boats will be launched.
This will be an opportunity to discover the new sailing area at
Port de Beaulieu Plaisance, where you can sail in complete tranquillity.

The Return of the White Pirate: a quest for hospitalised children
5th edition of Les Voiles Blanches – from 26 August to 11 September 2025

Dear sailors,

We invite you to drop off new toys in the chest located at the entrance of the Port Office, for the benefit of children hospitalised at Lenval Hospital. The White Pirate will come and collect them soon! > 7 September 2025 🙂 👬🧸🧩

For the fifth consecutive year, the White Pirate is setting sail again with a mission close to his heart: Collecting toys for children hospitalised at the Lenval Foundation. From 26 August to 11 September 2025, he will sail the Mediterranean, between Cassis and Nice, passing through Monaco, Cap d’Ail, Villefranche-sur-Mer, and other coastal ports.

At the helm of his sailing boat, the legendary White Pirate will sail from port to port, braving the waves, playing with the wind, and carrying toys donated by generous donors in his hold. This treasure will then be delivered to the Lenval Foundation in Nice, where it will be distributed throughout the year to hospitalised children.

His journey can be followed in real time on the Voiles Blanches YouTube channel, allowing children (and adults!) to experience this wonderful adventure distantly, port after port.

A joyful toy collection campaign! 😊

The departure is scheduled for 26 August 2025, with stops at the following ports:
